On a lazy Friday night after an incredibly long week, I made the positive mistake of scrolling through some old Facebook photos.

What I saw looking back at me was a much thinner, tanner, more muscular, me.

I have known for awhile that I had fallen off of the fitness boat but life has thrown a lot of curveballs over the past few months and it only takes a few nights of take-out and too many drinks to start the downward spiral.

I’m going to be using this blog as the usual dating/relationship/motivation/success article platform that I usually do, but throughout the journey I’ll post some progress updates in order to (hopefully) inspire and motivate you as well.

I’m not looking to be a fitness model, but we only get one body – and keeping it healthy and finely tuned is essential to living a successful and happy life.

Feel free to click the ‘follow’ button to receive email updates when a new blog is posted and be sure to share your progress with me as well.

Let’s rock.

I use the gym to calm my thoughts. I also fell into that downward spiral with other aspects influencing my lack of motivation to make me happy but when I began to workout again I began to use the workouts as a calming place almost like a buddhist in his temple, I am a temple within a temple.
