Think of this for a second…picture your bank account being credited with $86,400 every single morning.
But, at the end of each day, it resets back to zero and you get another $86,400 to start the next morning all over again.
What would you do? Would you only use half of it and let the rest go to waste, only to disappear? Or would you make sure you used every last penny and made it count? My guess is, you would want to make the absolute best of what you were given.
Can’t you picture yourself trying frantically to figure out the best ways to maximize the value of each dollar by the end of the day?
Now what if I told you – you are given this value every single day – but not in dollars. Every single day contains 86,400 seconds of time, the use of which, is up to you. At the end of each day, the clock is reset and starts all over again – the previous day’s time gone and never to be seen again, you only get one chance to use it.
86,400 seconds a day. 604,800 seconds a week. 31,449,600 every single year. Nobody has any more, or any less time. The most successful people ever to live had the same exact amount of time given to them as you do.
Because of this, your time is extremely valuable. It’s the greatest asset you can’t own. Who you choose to spend it with and what you choose to do with it, is more important than who and what you spend your money on – because money can be gotten back, your time cannot. Don’t waste the time of others, and don’t let others waste yours.
If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of. – Bruce Lee
The question is – how are you going to use it?

Great post, sir. Thank you for taking the TIME to write this.
One of the things I learned from robert kiyasaki’s teachings is that “Time is your most valuable resource” .. usually ppl say “time is money” but his statement resonated with me much more.
