I still appreciated it when a man still helps me when I am out. I have even opened doors for women and men when their hands were full, arms full of children, etc. 🙂

I love it when a man opens a door for me in public. I realize he doesn’t have to yet I truly appreciate the gesture. I’m always sure to thank him since I don’t know if all women do and I want him to know that THIS woman does appreciate it! I know women who resent that sort of thing. They think it implies that the man is saying they’re weak or inferior. I just don’t understand where they’re coming from.
OTOH, I’ve been known to open doors for those with their hands full. Chivalry never goes out of style, imo.
