On October 7th, 2013, in New York City, the new 2015 Cadillac Escalade was revealed to the world. The Livestream, provided by The Pulse Network, gave a great first hand look of the vehicle.

Here is a short promotional video from Cadillac:

It’s difficult not to be impressed by the massive grille, and general presence of the new design. The new Escalade is designed to make a statement, and that’s precisely what it does.

Aside from the impressive stance and exterior redesign, the truly impressive craftsmanship is found throughout the interior. With three different species of wood and 6 stitches per inch binding the leather, one can imagine that driving the 2015 Escalade will feel like you’re driving your own living room.

Push button folding down third row seats are a game-changer in the SUV industry as well.

While the monstrous Escalade has shed its fender vents, it has held onto, and improved, its huge trademark front grill. It appears to sit higher, giving the driver more of a commanding feel over the road.

Speaking of commanding, the Escalade’s 6.2L V8 Is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pounds-feet of torque, up almost 5% in hp and 10% in torque from the previous model(s).

You’ll be able to get the ’15 in ‘regular’ and ESV models, as well. Both of which will boast more head and leg room above its predecessor. The ESV model have a wheelbase 14 inches longer, and be about 20 inches longer.

Electric power steering and brake enhancements will improve the overall driving experience.

Cadillac’s goal for the Escalade is ‘ultimate refinement’ – as if you’re driving your own personal sanctuary. The fully boxed frame gives a sturdy, structural integrity to the body.
