I agree with this video. If we don’t have a healthy relationship with ourselves and know what we want in a partner then we make bad decisions in whom we allow into our lives.

This needs to be said and we can talk after work

I’m settling in our relationship – I can see the link about my trust issues and that fact that I want and need a man that does not make the world know that I am his 100% and protects it. We have been dating almost 2 years and still to the facebook world are single with a viewable phone number – which now I am to plus I’m protecting me with some changes to post and photos. I believe that relationship, photo’s etc were appropriate previously it does not make them okay now. Thank you for telling me about savannah post it was really positive but I’m not going to tell you it’s wrong when it is clear you think is right. It is a difference between you and me. For awhile I go along ok but these differences erodes myself worth and my standards.

Things need to change and for ME I think it will be best if we date and that means no spending the nights … last night you said “we are just having fun together” and a very true statement. But because it is true, I’m uncomfortable in activities with my dad and your class reunion that could be present our relationship as something that it is not.

I completely agree – a healthy relationship with ourselves is so essential to success with anything in life, including love.

While videos can convey a lot I do wish you’d include a transcript of the videos in the article as well. I like to read your articles during breaks at work, and it’s harder for me when they’re just the video’s

I really needed to hear those words. I have been settling and trying to fix something that probably can never be fixed. Some of that is because of the negative relationship I’ve have with myself. Great information. Always love reading your articles.

    BUT,
I am one of those persons that will skip a video, no matter how much I crave the info.
Please keep up the fantastic work,
I’m 57 and a productive male with rather young children, so of course your reinforcement of decency is encouraging and welcome.
    Thank you so much.
