  1. Hi James!

Several months ago a friend of mine sent me a link to your article ’12 Things to Expect When Dating a Strong Woman.’ Ever since I have been a delighted follower of your blog!

So, as a ‘Strong Woman’ I find myself at an interesting threshold in life. At 42 I have built a successful business, nurture a wonderful network of friends I call family, enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle (physically, socially, and emotionally), and have lots of fun with all of the above. Though my life is full and whole, I know it could be so much richer, more interesting, and fun with a strong partner! I have explored many of the avenues you would expect and continue to ‘put myself out there’ in hopes of making that connection. As a result, I have met some good men, have endless tales to share, and even established some cool new ties. Alas, I have yet to meet my partner.

So I write to you with the hope that you might point me in a new direction. Other than your readership, where are the ‘Modern Gentlemen’ you speak about in your blogs, podcasts, book, articles, and presentations hanging out these days? I know you strong men are out there but short of a countrywide campaign, this strong woman is not sure how to find you. Would you please offer some direction, tips, resources, or places I can go to meet Him?

Thank you for any guidance and thank you for inspiring men and women alike to cultivate respect, integrity, and honor for ourselves, communities, and partners!!

  2. I loved reading this and well done for making a stand in an increasingly confused world of relationship… I’ve write for my own love of it and one part of the novel was how she realises that in going forward she now has to learn how to date, as it is something she has never done… she knows that internet dating is often miss used but uses it as a tool to learn how to go on dates and be present… be open to the gift exchanged even if it is just going somewhere she would not usually have gone, and learning to not ‘rush’ but take time to discern the meaning for the crossing of paths… she emerges from the experience with a better understanding of communication and how to relate… I felt I needed to include that as part of the story because so many rush into things, and the purpose might be something entirely different… In my own experience I now pay attention to how much effort has gone in, how much preparation, not how much money, but just noticing how committed they are with that first meeting… kind of old fashioned courtship with some modern things in play…

  3. James,
I am the host of the weekly show Happily Ever After is Just the Beginning on webtalkradio.net. I have had several contributors to The Good Men Project as guests. I recently read your piece
The Top 12 Qualities Men Want in a Woman on that site and thought it would make a great topic for the show. Let me know if you are interested and what your availability might be.

  4. Hi James,

My name is Jessica Williams. I work with Michelle G. as a content writer on her team.
We are wondering if you’d be willing to do a brief interview via email. Your expert perspective and suggestions on relationships would be valuable and shared with Michelle G. readers.

    Thank you very much.
Look forward to hearing from you.

  5. Good morning James,

My name is Mike Zacchio, and I am a New York-based writer who has been following you on Instagram for the last couple of months. I love the work that you do and admire what you’ve built for yourself.

I recently self-published my second book, “Inside Out,” which is a collection of stories that have to deal with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery — topics very similar to your niche. The book is due out on Kindle on Nov. 11, and should be available in paperback the following week.

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to give it a read and a review. I greatly value the opinion of someone who talks about these topics for a living and has been wildly successful with it. I can email you a PDF version of the ebook as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Have a wonderful day.

    Sincerely,
    Mike Zacchio
