Death is perhaps the most depressing, avoided topic that any of could think of to discuss. In fact, of the hours of Sam Harris talks I’ve listened to, I admit I stayed away from this one for quite awhile, due to the title. However I’m glad I finally took the plunge – you’ll (hopefully, as I did) find it more uplifting rather than the alternative.

This is a spectacularly articulate talk by the great Sam Harris. On a personal note, Sam has provided me with endless inspiration in the journey to become worldly and educated. Sam’s ability to craft the English language into powerful but easily understandable sentences show his true intelligence.

In my opinion, this is a great use of 45 minutes of your time, and I would love to hear your thoughts after watching.

Sam Harris is a Co-Founder and CEO of Project Reason, a non-profit foundation devoted to spreading scientific knowledge and secular values in society. He received a degree in philosophy from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA. (http://www.SamHarris.org/)
